Economic development
Mobilizing diaspora knowledge and connections to encourage local initiative, livelihoods, and economic opportunity.
Uniting the Haitian diaspora around a shared purpose: supporting communities in Haiti through economic development, food resilience, education, agriculture, and general health.

The diaspora, together for Haiti.
Power Diaspora is a nonprofit organization bringing Haitians abroad together to support Haitian causes and community development in Haiti. We connect the diaspora’s resources, skills, and commitment with the priorities of communities on the ground.
Our mission centers on five connected priorities that support everyday wellbeing and long-term community development.
Mobilizing diaspora knowledge and connections to encourage local initiative, livelihoods, and economic opportunity.
Supporting community efforts toward more reliable access to food and a stronger capacity to meet essential needs.
Encouraging learning, skills sharing, and access to educational resources that help people shape their future.
Championing local agricultural initiatives and the people who cultivate Haiti’s land and help feed its communities.
Supporting health education, prevention, and community partnerships that promote wellbeing and access to appropriate care.
Power Diaspora supports Staff Turgeau en Action (STA), a separate community organization based in Turgeau, Port-au-Prince. Our connection reflects a shared commitment to social services, community wellbeing, and Haitian-led action.
